What We Are About
Mark and Cindy Wood are the founders of Center Point. They have a burden to meet people right where they are. Mark is the pastor at Fultondale First Baptist Church, Fultondale Alabama. Mark has traveled extensively to third world countries seeing how people live. He understands the need to share Christ around the world. Setting people on the path of discipleship is the desire that Mark has for each Christian. His desire is for this web ministry to grow and develop into a tool that Christians can use to grow deeper in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Mark and Cindy have four children; Taylor, Steven, Rebecca and Bethany. God has richly blessed this family. Their prayer is that God will use them in an even greater way.

Accountability Board
Center Point is made up of a board of directors. There are currently five people who serve on this advisory Board. Mark Wood serves as the president, Cindy Wood serves as the vice president. Mark and Cindy have four children, Taylor, Steven, Rebecca and Bethany.
Glenda Winters, who is a member at First Baptist Church Gantt, is the secretary and treasurer. Glenda is from Covington county originally, however, she has lived in the Atlanta, Georgia area for most of her adult life. She brings the poise and stability to the board as she is financially stable and is business savvy. She is the owner of Glenda Winters Travel. Glenda is also the coordinator for the trips and various travel for the Center point organization.
Tim Harvey is a member of Grace Baptist Church in Oxford, Alabama. Tim serves on the board of directors as an active member. Tim is a layperson with the wisdom of a well-seasoned minister. Tim is employed as the controller for a division of an international corporation. Tim is also a prolific writer. He is the author of Layman’s Look which appears on this site. His current projects include the topic “integrity in the daily battle.” Tim is married to Susan and they have two children, Rebecca and Michael.
Stephen Peeples is the pastor of Roopville Road Baptist Church in Carrollton, Georgia. Stephen has been Pastor at RRBC for 10 years and has led the church into becoming a growth-oriented body of believers. Stephen has a global focus on lost people around the world. Stephen brings to Center Point the integrity and vision that is desired to cause people to grow in Christ. Stephen is married to Lisa and they have two daughters, Kourtney and Kristen
